We have recently experienced an increase in errors when selecting the PowerGrid timing belt forthe 1.9D engine (Renault), installed in the S40/V40 models. We therefor believe it is needed to review this issue in a Technical Bulletin.

There are in total 4 different engine types of this 1.9 diesel. Most of the error occur with models produuced up to 12/2000, because the belts have the same number of teeth and the error is not noticed during installation.
